So have you been hauling cars for a year or are you just starting out with PMTG?

Ive been with them for a Year , and i understand some driver arent happy, but if it was that bad they wouldn't be loading cars with us, im not trying to say PMTG is the greatest car-hauling company, im just simply wanting to share my GOOD experiences.

    Humbly written

Entry #3 After the hand on training, for one week, after i learned that an idiot can do this, i was quickly bored with loading procedures. After completing my week of training i was given my own truck with NO TRAINER, however since i was a new driver i was assigned a mentor, this person would be someone i would follow in the same lanes and delivered to the same dealers on the same days when possible but at a minimum we were in the same city delivering at the same time , Also for the first 90 days i couldnt load at night because i needed to to supervised which was cool because i was in the babysitting stage even thou i found it to be easy they required this, and i was cool with it because i wanted to be a team player.

Back on track, i got my first load from Lafayette IN Subaru, and i delivered to Harrisburg,PA

So now im in the Mix of things transporting cars, but for the first 90 days i cant load unsupervised which is ok like i previously stated. now bring everything up to date. lets get into January, i guess is the slow month of trucking Ive hear and it was no different for me, so in January last year i sat for 5 days at the house , my first taste of a slow time in trucking. So i took with a grain of salt and was ready to work when they called me. There after in Feb i was a dealer in Illinois and my tail end of my truck hit a car cause $6000 worth or damage, So after this was an investigation because the dealer didnt realize what happen till after i had left. I had no knowledge of what ive done so i just filled out a report of what happened, such how i came into the dealer and how i left, most dealers are tight to get in and get out and this one was no different. So i had a phone meeting with safety and i sat down and had to do some computer based training on ProTread, it was the worst however i got through it and im still a driver today and i haven't done it since.

    Speedloader Thanks this.
