Mu automatic decided to stop shifting this morning during rush hour on the long island expressway.


Dealer cant take trailer...no room.queens .$700 to tow 9 miles ....and $75/day to store it.trailer that is.and ive yet to find out how big the volvo bill will be.

Well I'm scheduled for delivery ay M Brower in Pompano for Monday 3pm....
I get a phone call early in the day and ask if I can get there by 2PM....
I say yes and when I get there they reject the load and say come back
in 24 hours...All the paperwork and qualcomm says Monday delivery.....
so now I go back pay $26 parking, another 24 hours of reefer time
plus my time.....stay tuned for more...

 

I went right by the farmers market but didn't want to park where there were no facilities....rest room, food, etc
especially if I was staying overnight.....so I stayed at the Rodeway Inn, Truck parking, sports bar, Monday night football, etc....

Now that I know the farmers market has what I need, I will park there next time....Thanks!

 

Well they sent me away again because the lady was pissed off.....she tried to call me to come in early but I was sleeping and didn't call back till after lunch....but I was still early for my 2pm appointment.......now I am sitting another 24 hours.....Oh well...

 

I was talking with my DM today and she has to find out.....I sure hope so.....As far as I see it.....they gotta get up 48 hours of reefer time, and 2 days layover pay.....I was on time on Monday with the paperwork stating 12/09 delivery.....I am blown away this could happen.....just refuse the load and send us away for another 24 hours......????
