MBM - Operated by JB HUNT Transport?

    just passed two MBM trucks, newer cascadia's, with markings of MBM that had those temp magnetic placards on the door saying operated by JB Hunt Transport?

    Whats up with that?

    Ok just guessing cause I dunno as fact.......

    The new trend in trucking is for pvt. fleets to farm out the tractor side of the operation to a mega in exchange for a fixed price. Mega has exp. with trucks, drivers, compliance and folks like MBM have exp. with food etc. One example of many is Weiner man and Dollar General. Another is JB and Budwiser. There are many examples.
    Fedex ground is another.....

    Also customers are using CSA scores to beat up vendors. MBM and others get rid of mules, drivers, compliance staff and DOT number then no hassle with customer over bad score. Good for MBM, good for JB and bad for the driver.......

    DCS appears to pull any manner of trailer but oversized, and I wouldn't fall over if I saw one of those.

    I saw one pulling a feed tank with the auger in town here.

    Why on earth would any driver be stupid enough to pull mbm for jb when they could just go work for mbm and make more money

    tried to apply there almost a year ago. couldnt get past their little personality assessment test. Perhaps if they just came right out and said it they might be able to hire people? "driver be prepared to bend over....."

    Correct, I heard McLane bought MBM also. So maybe JB Hunt is pulling MBM's trailers from warehouse-warehouse DC centers.
