I changed the cats on my pickup and was pricing what they were bringing online for scrap. They pay more than the local scrap yards.

I run into a place that recycles cats, DPFs and DOCs online. Many will give you $100 to $700 depending on the model# DPF.

Don't let that shop have the old one! Recycle it and make a few bucks!

The cat pos dpf has a large core charge...... However they usually fail inspection ,so scrap might be an option.

So they do charge a core? That ain't right because I don't think they can rebuild them. That's the whole purpose of a core. These usually get melted down and start over from the beginning. The shop must be cabbaging on the big bucks.
