My fuel filter gelled for my APU gelled in Dakota City, Ne. by the time I got down to Il. it was fine and I even added anti gelling stuff but I guess I need stronger stuff for that little filter. LOL.

Cant wait to get rid of this student(he is 66)and I dont know if he is senile or messing with me but I have never discussed washouts for over 2 hours and the procedures. This man is testing my patience(of which I do not have much) every day every hour. Ok I am done venting.

OMG! The sun is shining in Missouri!.....But we had 4 more inches of snow on top of what we already had and the temp this morning was 1 .....that's right 1!
(Honeybadger, I am green with envy and you are not on my favorite person list right now!) From what I could tell Joplin roads and especially the entrance and exit ramps to I 44 are still partially covered, some snow still on the highway between Joplin and Springfield.

Your student is probably just nervous, jaso. It has to be rough to be starting a new career at 66. And, unfortunately, I know from experience that the older I get the more forgetful I am...... so you go over and over things trying to make sure that you remember them. I had a birthday a few days ago and I had a time just remembering how old I was .....and then it hit me ....Oh yeah! I am 39 again! Is there anything that you could do to keep his mind occupied and his mouth shut? LOL Maybe read sections of the TransAm bible and write down any questions that he has? I think when Husband started with TransAm they used to send some written assignments along with students ....and a video that they were supposed to watch. I do feel for ya though, I would be one mean lady if I were stuck in one small room of my home with an irritating guest!

In 2007 when I was in truck school in Ft Scott a recruiter from TransAM came to our school. Now, for some odd reason, I seem to remember he was suposed to be the owner of TransAM. I was just looking at their website and I don't remember Johnny looking like he does, but I do remember the name Johnny. Have any of you met him? He had a TA tatoo on his arm. Am I remember the same guy?

I dunno, Ft Scott is only an hour a way from Olathe. Owner showing up to recruit seemed awesome to me. TA was my first choice out of school but they didnt hire me due to poor work history...even though Johnny had told me to apply dispite that.

Tryin to find money now to get back into school for a refresher, TA says they'd consider me if I take a refresher course.

 

hey cranky yankee..gail in leasing told me it will take 45 days for me to receive my lease completion bonus, i opted for it to be put on my card instead of direct deposit. but is this true?, 45 days..i am on my 25th hour at the kw dealership in nashville due to a faulty harness, had to get towedfrom paducah, ky to here..i applied at another company and yesterday i got a called from them that my license was suspended..called maryland it is suspended for not submitting my dot card..was able to fax it to them yesterday and have to take the hard copy in on friday, thats what the lady told me. i messaged heather this, so my hometime can be moved up to this friday for this urgent matter. david cole calls me at 6pm yesterday and says he never heard of such a thing and it must be something else with my mvr..um ok i relayed to him the exact thing i said to heather which is the exact thing the mva lady told me..verbatim...its been fun
