Right beside where my mom works theres a movie company with a whole bunch of Cabover trucks just sitting there. I did not get a chance to check them all out as i spent all my time there looking at one really nice old "White Freightliner" Not sure which year but im guessing maybe mid 70's or earlier?. It was white in Color and had maybe a 30 inch bed behind the drivers seat and it had windows around the whole thing. IM guessing that was an owner option back then.
As for the argosy. I think they look really good. But thats JMO. Theres a guy at my uncles company who owns two (I think he may own a third one as well) straight truck argosy's. Nice paint jobs and i remember how amazed i was seeing the steps come out the first time. -

The company who runs a lot of the asphalt distributor trucks out here uses mostly long wheelbase Cabovers to mount their tank and spray bars on. Most are Bearcat's. When I get hired to go chip sealing we do a lot of subdivisions with tight radiuses, culdesack circles, etc, and the distributor truck drivers seem to have a lot easier time getting around in tight quarters than when a hooded truck shows up (1 day in my 3 years chipping).

The owner of the company I'm leased to has 3 or 4 cabovers as company trucks and usually drives one himself. All of them are Petes and KWs. He has 3 or 4 more project cabovers sitting out back waiting to be redone. He even has a 4 door freightliner cabover. A few weeks ago I drove one of the KWs for the first time to haul my truck home. It took a little bit to get use to the seating position compared to my truck.
