Small, flexible company looking for OTR driver for dry van, running upper Midwest (Chicago, NW IN, etc.) and back, but that is only a guideline, typically go where the money is. Adding a truck and happy to have you speak to current driver to get the real picture. I would say this is like being an owner operator without the payments, so if that is something that appeals to you, let me know. If you want to be an o/o, perfect place for you and we can make that happen at some point. Pay is percentage based, depending on the type of loads you take, can be home weekends, once during the week or hardly ever, pretty much up to you. We look at you as a partner, member of family, not a number, in fact the driver we have now has met pretty much the whole family including the dog. Looking for someone who will appreciate that for what it is; if you're looking for big benefits, not the place. If you're looking for what I mentioned, let me know. Happy to give info on the truck and anticipated income (based on what the other driver has done) over the phone or personal e-mail. Require minimum 2 years recent experience, clean driving, criminal, drug records. If you are interested, please contact.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

LOL, well, hopefully I'll find the perfect driver from it! Or close....luvtotruck Thanks this.
-
give me a little more info. on the type of equipment and where do u run out of I stay in texas?
-
As indicated in the ad, it's in/out of the Midwest and south, Chicago area for the most part. But, also it says we will go where the money is...I've not seen rates all that great in Texas, so that likely would not work.
-
UPDATE: Driver this week made $.55 per odometer mile. Cannot say that would happen every week, but it is possible and if we stick with the plan, low $.40's would be the low end. Again, pay is percentage based. Other thing is, IF you are interested in owning a truck before 2015, can make that happen...not a lease purchase that will have you killing yourself making the payment; but an outright purchase and I can show you how and help. I want good drivers and want to make them successful so they stick around.

Still looking?

Yes...little response to what I think, and I know the guy that drives for me now would think, is a pretty good opportunity.
-
Well sorry to hear that! I hope you find what you are looking for, probably have to spend some money on a real ad for what you are looking for.???
