    Be careful if your trying to purchase the lifetime Maps Upgrade from this outfit for your 510s and 720s GPS etc.

    Their Credit Card setup is very misleading and displays a message on the screen stating your card is invalid when you press the submit button.

    All the while in the background you are being billed repeatedly !!!!


    Now i get to spend the next few weeks trying to get my money back :biggrin_25521:

    I have seen this kind of thing before. A few month back I paid my cell phone bill, just like I always did, with one of the "Big" cell carriers.

    I check my credit card online and they hit it 4 times for the same amount. Took me several days to get it fixed with my bank, all the while the cell phone carrier said it was not their fault. Now, I never use their online site to pay my monthly bill. I use the bill pay feature from my bank that way the cell carrier cannot screw up the transaction as they did not initiate it.

    This is why you should never use a debit card online. This allows the potential for a lot of bad things to happen to your money/checking account.

    You should only use a credit card ie. Discover... Discover has a great fraud protection and if you get fraudulent charges they handle it immediately.

    I got the lifetime maps update for free with the purchase of my 720... I think they all come with that...

    you may have ignored the warning that says don't hit the submit button more than once, it can a bit for it to process. if you hit the submit button more than once , it processes each time you hit it.

    Yeah.....but it prompted me (with a Pop up Window) to go back and correct my info (which was already correct) and try again.

    So anyways I have contacted them and will see what happens...I cant imagine them not making it right.

    I won't use any kind of plastic online no matter how safe the site is,that won't stop hackers.
