Which Freightliner should I buy?

your from upstate ny? that's where I drove the truck!

 

it was on a farm, I also got to drive a ractor, which was at the time the biggest in the world, a skidsteer, and a few different things. its a dairy farm.

 

but I liked the semi truck the best

 

I do apologize if I made it sound as if I were an expert at that age, I was sitting on my uncle Ed's lap, but I was pushing the pedals and turning the wheel. the truck stayed in the sae gear the whole way down the road.

 

don't remember exactly, but it was a kenworth, and it was a conventional truck. it also had duct tape on the shifter. I was probably bigger than average for a 6 year old too. I liked the jake brake's sound too. I also remember opening the little vent on either side of the sleeper, and the bed was really soft. And the seat was really cool in my opinion, in the fact that it had its own suspension. but the ride was still awful rough when I took it to that little place to park. In fact, the only thing I didn't like about the truck was the fact that it was a little hard to get into, but I could get in there myself, if this gives a little perspective of my size. I don't think I ever drove that truck again, it was all different trucks. I'm surprised I actually remembered it was a Kenworth. Now the only thing I drive is Freightliner. That's my favorite brand anyway.

 

By the way, the computer that has the video and pictures is unhooked, I'll see about getting you those pictures and video some other time, since I cant connect it to the internet and there is no way of transferring it from that one to this one without me buying something, and I'm not really that worried about my appearance to others as far as that's concerned. maybe when I decide to watch it myself, if I remember, I can see about that. Right now though, I have more important things to do. Hope you understand. I would give you my old teacher's number so you could call her up if she hadn't already died of breast cancer a few years back. I hated her. She hated me and called me a liar. She also got cancer and died.

 

ok, back on topic, eh? Which of the three do you think would be best: Freightliner Century, Columbia, or Coronado? These are the 3 best trucks in my price rage. Now I just need to know which would be best, but I'm leaning toward Century.

 

Well I actually drove at 9, but you have to give me credit for driving 6 miles that on his lap at least twice a month, if not more. All he ever did was switch gears, but that was rare that we switched gears with me driving. I actually did drive it at the age of 7 by my self once for about 2 miles before parking it on the side and letting him drive it the rest of the way for me once he got there. I had a really hard time because I wasn't that good at switching gears at the time, so I didn't, but the real bad part was that I had to stand on my left foot and feather the gas with my right foot so I could half see where I was going. I just got too scared of either falling (this wasn't paved road) and hitting the gas too hard and crashing, or just plain crashing. But I should really get back on topic. I am also very happy to know that you have Kids and grandkids who I assume drive by now, or are just learning to drive semi trucks at the same age. It's nice to know that there are more generations possibly interested in trucking.

 

If possible, would also like to gain some information that you earned from your 40 years of experience, I also see that you must like freightliner trucks too, which means I could get more relevant information on certain topics.
