Thank you for helping me with this important decision I will make sometime. This forum has a great community and you have helped me to make the most important decision there will probably be in my career, I am very thankful for this. I will bring any other questions I have pertaining to trucking here. I understand that not everyone has driven all three trucks, but you do know a great deal about each truck individually. The best thing for me to do now is to make the decision for myself. Have a good day. -Joshua

I don't understand that.
-
Ok, I will probably check again tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.

What he's saying is you should consider getting a few years of OTR experience before buying a truck. I too will be buying a truck of my own, probably in the same price range you speak of, but it'll be a few more years before I do that. That being said, don't let any of these dirtbags rain on your parade. Worst thing that could happen is you fail right?

Good Luckjoshuacrooker Thanks this. -
"don't let any of these dirtbags rain on your parade". Not a very nice thing to call people now is it !
-
Oh cmon, that's softball compared to some of the crap that's been slung around on these forums.
-
Yes there is a lot slung on the forums and theres a lot of posters who would have put him through the ringer more so than the 1 with the CART BEFORE THE HORSE comment but no need to call them DIRTBAGS.
-
Dirtbag = someone who comes into a topic, does not add any info related to what the OP asks then proceeds to belittle and insult the intelligence of the OP because obviously the OP has to be an idiot to ask such things and will likely fail before even trying so why try?
there is WAY to much of that on these forums. -
Wow, a lot happened in the little time I was gone. I'm just looking for information, not trying to be an idiot. I'm not even old enough to get a CDL yet, but some of this would be nice to know a few years in advance. I am about to get my CDL, But of course I'm going to work as a driver for hire first. I will buy my own truck when I decide to start my own company. It's just nice to have a good idea what truck you are going to get and around how much money you need in advance. I apologize if I have done anything wrong.
