If you don't mind awhole lot of sitting, the lowest paid company.Alot of swapping lds with another driver or splitting at a drop yd or terminal then wait hrs for your next ld assignment go with Werner. If you plan on making your trucking exp a success, you really should look at other companies.Unless your recruiter ask I wouldn't tell them you have a pit bull.

This may have not been mentioned but you will need to have your Dog cared for for abought two months training takes more than 3 weeks had been sugested by the recruter. and the insurance extra was that mentioned if you leave and the truck smells of Dog you will pay for the cleaning which will equal your last check

Im currently working for werner and let me tell you this company really sucks... every day is a challenge for me out there. just trying to communcate with my dispatcher is a headache, but im a fighter.
my advise: dont ever try to work for tis company, you'll regret it for the rest of your life.
my job: suppose to be a dedicated run (chicago-indianapolis-st louis and chicago)
real life: also go to ohio, iowa, kansas, and they want me to go once to new jersey, i said No
my pay rate: 26 cents per mile
dispatchers: they treat you like a dog
if you go team drivers: 34 cents per mile
what i do: i start every monday at 9 am. and finished thursday or friday night and park the truck and go home even if they dont want me to do it, because at the end they dont care.
    sometimes i make $300, $400 and no more than $500 a week
this company thinks they are making you a favor because you have no experience and nobody else is gonna hire you, could be, but ill get some more experience and then chao...

Some companies just don't believe in change unless its to benefit them and not the drivers. How long you been driving for them?On the plus side you do get home every weekend.Just imagine the otr drivers that only get home once a month which I did when I drove for them.

After 6 Months you will have more chances to move to a better company research it well, there are many companies that will hire after 6 months but not all are better than Wiener.

I could not have the patience to drive for Prime. I never seen one of their trucks go over 60mph.
