    Plan for the weekend is to stack firewood tomorrow and head out on the lake for some spearing on Sunday.

    I would agree but I need the trailer its in to haul my spear house out on the ice next week. The foot of snow on top of it wont help much either!

    Funny you bring that up were having a barbeque out on the ice Sunday. I'm trying to decide between venison polish or venison cheese brats.

    venison cheese brats sounds pretty awesome.. ive only had venison cooked in flour and fried but I've been wanting to try it some different ways lately

    They are really good. I also had country sausage, and summer sausage made and will be having jerky made after the first of the year.

    My favorite is soaking venison steaks in Italian dressing and diet coke then throwing them on the grill. We do the exact same thing with goose breasts except they get sliced real thin.
