They are probably driving him vs. flying him for 1. His comfort. He can't really be bending his leg to set in a plane for that long. 2. To make sure his pet and possessions make it back to AL. 3. FRE seems to be going above and beyond where his comfort is concerned. 4. I hope and pray that he heals completely and soon.

Not only what you say here, but, also think of this... With all that metal in his leg, he'ld have a heck of a time with airport security... Doesn't matter if he's on crutches or not... I'm almost afraid to even try getting on a plane with all the metal in my body...
