    Back in the day would have to say R-W Service System '78-'79 my first true OTR job, moving ahead in time after Deregulation would have to say Badger Lines, Packerland Transport.......

    Hey what was your dads name.i was a mechanic there for 9 years. If that freightliner was your dads i know him i just cant recall his name.that was a good place to work for back in the day.had a lot of good times at that place.

    [Qhi i use to work for carretta as a mechanic back in the 90s.if thats your dads freightliner in the pic i know him i justcant recall his name.that was a great plce to work back in the day .my dad worked there too.have a lot of great memmories of that plce and the people.UOTE=Hitman;1425286]Anybody here ever drive for Caretta Trucking out of Bergen county NJ? I remember seeing alot of their trucks back in the 80's. They had some good looking rigs.

    and CTI-carpet transport--the small reefer division--some of the wildest bunch of outlaws I ever ran across--LOL

    Roadway Express. My father retried after 33 years from there, running Line Haul the whole time. I too worked there from 02 to 05 running Line Haul too. In fact for 6 months ran a team bid with my father.
    Was a great, well ran company. Great money, great schedules, great home time, and for me the job was fun most of the time.
    Then in 05 Yellow Freight bought them, changed the name to YRC and slowly ran the company into the ground.

    I drove for Ralph Owens about 16-17 years ago. He was a tough ol' dude. Meat, yogurt, and sugar lol. I wondered whatever happened to Connie and the dispatchers...

    CFI was a great jobs. Fast trucks, good freight, and well ran. Probably the best dry van job there was.
