Geeez!!What a nut bustin crowd!!Not every driver has compooter skills.
Leave it at that. One friend asks another, and they ask here?
I would give the driver props on taking the initiative to go solo, and obtain a license.
No experience, and gets through the process. We got tons of posts from schooled
drivers that can't pass the test.Did we also forget clean record?
That's like finding a Unicorn driving a truck :smt059Gitana Thanks this. -
If he has issues with the computer not a problem help him along, not do it all for him..Hows he suppose to learn anything that way. This lady seems like a nice person and good friend so be a friend not mom.Assistance and doing it for him are 2 entirely different things.Ray is so not computer savvy. He wants something looked up ill hand him the laptop and guide him along but not do his job.He needs to learn. After findout out just how much research Gitana is in store for, she'll quit helping him, lol.Pus if you call companies they are going to want to talk to him not her.Hows that going to look trying to find a job.

He might get tuition paid CDL school through the unemployment office. Sometimes in Florida they pay or partially pay tuition. Paschall Truck Lines might hire him without formal CDL school. Millis Transfer also has an excellent CDL school. Comcar in Auburndale might put him through their CDL school. As OzzyOKC suggested, Prime would probably hire him, but they have a very long training period, but it is good.
Gitana Thanks this. -
You mean after all the countless posts where a wife is trying to find something for her husband is ok, but if its a friend....he needs to get off his blank and do it???? Interesting.....Or maybe this is a good old fashioned cat-fight.

Whats the problem here?? That's how I did it before the internet was big. Paid some bozo at a towing company 150 bucks for the test. Got a gig in a box truck then got on with a local fruit company and worked up from there. Personally I think that way makes a better driver. If your friend is local there have him call all the citrus companys there getting busy right now. btw hows Dave doing? I have not talked to him lately?

Dang, I need a S/O to find me jobs and post on random sites.
Are you hot Gitana and female ?

I think Schneider would take him

Maverick all the way. Their training is intense, but its worth it. Their instructors will bend over backwards to help a student/ new driver succeed.

Maverick sounds like a very good company, but unfortunately Florida is not in their hiring area.
