My former employer was like that. He'd defer spending $50 on repairs, just to spend $500 a few weeks later for the same repairs plus a tow bill.

What did he used to drive . Ice cream trucks don't count. I had a boss like that once. I called him an said" I lost all my air pressure" then he said" what does that mean" I said it means the truck wont move! Small company 13 trucks and he wouldnt let us idle. He changed after he had to pay $800 to get new starters hung on the trucks about 3 in 3 months time.

He was the bosses pet before he was "given" his current job. He backed into my tractor causing $10,000 worth of damage to my 7 year old truck.I believe nothing was said, but I had to still drive my smashed truck while his brand new truck sat there when he wasn't driving. i could post stories until my fingers bled.

LOL--cant say that goes on round here--we are pretty ol skool--BUT--we have grown a tad in the last few years--and now have a couple of stereotypical dispatch types--(more glorified secretaries)called in one morning about an OSD situation--and was greeted with--WOW--cant believe you got there this AM--almost everything is CLOSED for the storm! My hubby dropped me off--cause he plows for the township!
Best part is she had me on speaker--heard the ol man in the background--"you realize he's in Miami--right?"
    LMAO
