Sure hope you picked Oak Grove

I've never actually stayed there. It's that bad eh?
St. Joseph for the night. Might head down to the Petro in the AM and do some laundry. -
That place is nasty, and over crowded.SHC Thanks this.

Tiny parking lot, lot lizards, major traffic, if you're lucky enough to get in, you won't get out without some kind of damage, etc. Not that bad to stop by but I wouldn't park there.

Well I finally got my ld. put on the trl. Stuck here at the site as I have no permits.
Several other trks. here also.
Guys please if going to jobsites, please bring food and water etc..
Had too many first timers here complaining about nothing to eat or drink.
One guy was complaining about having to wait for a legal ld.
Trk. pusher told him he could go home if he wanted.
He changed his tune when he was told that he would not get any pay for sitting and then leaving mty.
He was complaining that he is home most every week and how he should of just taken a cheap ld. to the house. I said have a fun trip going home.. Talk about getting a dirty look from him.milskired, Sleepy68, blacklabel and 2 others Thank this. -
Here at Oak Grove. I'm trying to debar on heading to Ft Riley tonight or just getting up early. Any decent stopping points out that way? I don't get to Kansas much.
SHC Thanks this. -
I only carry a few bottles of water and that's it. I don't have a fridge and my cooler took a dump on me a few months ago. But even then I didn't carry any food. I can usually go a day or two wothout eating and it does not bother me much.

There is a little place right off exit 295 (I-70 and 77 junction) that isn't bad. If the weather is supposed ot be descent I would just roll out of Oak Grove about 0500 and hammer down

SHC, I understand your post, but if you know you are coming to the frozen waste land waiting to ld. an oil rig piece, I believe you are smart enough to bring some extra supplies.
