You pull flatbed? You get up here a lot? We have had, on average, more snow than we usually get so early.

As I was leaving the TA in Willington, CT this morning, another driver flagged me down as I was rounding the corner to go back on I-84. He hung out his window and cautioned me that there were still some icy patches out there.

That warning caused me to wonder if I had waited long enough for the snow crew to do their work. If it was too bad I figured I'd just stop again. There were a few spots that had one or two lanes still snow covered, but otherwise it wasn't too bad. Made it here safely.

Pulling a load that has me tapping the bell on 80K pounds across PA is a good comparison for my old Freightliner that I had at Roehl before. It's no comparison at all, this new Intetnational out pulls the old one by a wide margin. The old one could barely crawl up a hill with a load 10K pounds lighter.

    Projektf350 Thanks this.

I am glad you are moving. I saw a poor flatbed Driver at Flying Hook in Perrysburg, OH today with no freight. I hope they were at home because that would suck sitting for who knows how long waiting for a load.

I guess Roehl has most of their trucks running up north because I saw a lot of the them going east on 80 today.

I am glad all our Fed Ex loads are d/h. Well some of those Amazon's we go to for Fed Ex will hold things up by not having a trailer ready when. It is supposed to be. I got the good old Chicago to Memphis Fed Ex load tomorrow night. I am glad it is at night because 57 is boring as **** during the day.

Probably just sitting tonight. Plenty in the area, especially around Detroit. Probably got something for tomorrow morning.

    TA, I-80 PA x78 / Brookville, pulling a rather-old curtainside. But hey, it's miles, can't complain.

Came from Gary this morning; going through eastern Ohio, saw a half-dozen or so wrecked semis in the ditch and median. Two were doubles that had gone over on their sides; one of those was torn up pretty badly. A couple others with van trailers on their sides, a couple had gone way off the road but were still upright. Looked like they had all occurred hours before; apparently the wrecker crews were either busy with other things or in no hurry to get them cleared away.

Must have been fun times yesterday and last night.
