I was browsing Melton's website and under the driver requirements they didn't list how much experience was needed to be hired. Does anyone know what they require?

They used to say 3 mos. experience or graduate of CDL school.

Melton is one of the companies that will take you on if you are a recent graduate of a CDL school or have experience, just as China said.
You may know that there are other companies that will charge to train if you're interested.
These starter firms are not hard to get into. 3yrs verifiable employment/non-employment, clean driving for at least 3 to 5 yrs, no felonies or drug habit and you're pretty much golden. -
I am trying not to put money out for school again. I have been told Prime may be an option too. I am not a recent graduate, nor do I have recent experience.

Millis Transfer has an excellent reputation for their CDL program and paychecks.
goatman18 Thanks this. -
It used to be 6 mo's. Not sure now. Call a recruiter and ask.

No driving experience required for recent grads.

long as you pass the pre hire on there website you should be good but don't hide stuff they will find out. Melton is a pretty good company has a few little quirks but way better than a lot of others but being a flatbed cowboy isn't a rodeo but the more you roll tarp and secure the easier it seem to gets on days with good weather anyway.

Melton I went to straight out of school, 4 days orientation, 21 days with trainer or if lucky like me only 15 days. Good company so far nice trucks with lots of optioms but are kind of small.

They have those fancy automatic Volvos for the senior guys that are deff roomy.
