Where is everyone #2!!

Figured I would post up since I have not in a while. I am just Sitting around at home, bored as heck! Work has been SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOW the past couple weeks. Me being the bottom of the chain means I am stuck working which sucks since we are slow I am not working more then 20 hours a week. OTR might be calling me back sooner then I was planning! LOL Besides that, who could possibly do the same thing day in and day out, no change of scenery, people, loads, nothing its all the same! Pretty bored with it already. I was hoping this wouldn't happen for another couple years so I could save more and just go buy my own rig to work for myself but it happens!

 

Bloomington, CA at the yard... kicked off the aluminum this AM and now gonna load more aluminum tomorrow morning and head north with only 3 drops this time... all the metal sales places up north must be keeping bare bones for stock this time of year cause the loads north lately have been very minimal

 

At Demotte, IN after an exceptionally slow drive through Chicago. Deliver Indy tomorrow and start looking for that Key West load

 

Hauled corn today.

Loading the flat tomorrow morning then heading for Garrison, ND.

 

Shot down to Nicholasville, Ky and unloaded this morning and reloaded at the same place. Made it up to Indy and then hit ice fog all the way from there to Decatur, IL. Sitting at the Pilot tonight, unloading about a mile down the road, then shoot up to Washington, Il to do an emergency GE Wind Energy load out to Newton, IA. Got the rest of the years loads planned out as well, so should be easy going as long as the course stays the way it's set right now... FINGERS CROSSED!!

 

I'll be back in Newton at TPI tomorrow night.

Parked at the shipper's in KS. Loading in the AM then down to Tulsa to fill the deck. Hopefully in the afternoon. Last rounder of the year is looking really good.

 

Finally got papers signed on the new house frickin bank sure as hell drug their feet tho. The previous owner was nice enough it allow us to move in before closing for just a 300 dollar fee and then told me I was the ####### when I told him I was instituting a 100 dollar a day storage fee on the #### he left in the barn but wants to come get in a couple weeks like I'm just supposed to provide free storage. I got her all moved in so I loaded up my booster and I'm going to head to Houston and load a 90,000 lbs coil guess I'll see how the Petermobile handles the weight. It'll be good ur go back to work to get some rest.

 

I'm just waking up parked out front of my inbound direct. Parked out front n slept here (14 miles from the house) last nite as yesterday morning ol Bessie didn't want to be running for the first hour she was. Guess I need more fuel conditioner. Also needed a break from being home- I've slept at home every nite since nov 15. My lady stays up late every nite and always wants a "show" I needed to get some rest for once :/ now that's a luxury problem if I ever did have one.
