    1) Need some help choosing Flatpanel and inverter. I'm look at a 19" 720p HD(for XB360) and 1500w. I would love a bigger tv :biggrin_255: but I think that's pushing it in a KW T2000.

    2) XBOX live, how can I accomplish this? If you say wireless card from cell provider is it that good of a connection that gaming would still be fun or IT ain't worth it?? THX

Don't know anything about the flatpanel.

I heard that cell internet has bad latency (lag) over 100ms.
    Not the greatest for gaming.

I use a 400w inverter to power a PS2 and a 13" el-cheapo tube type TV. By next February I will have to upgrade to a digital TV and was thinking about a 15", or, 19" flat panel. I gotta' be sure my inverter will handle the flat panel TV.

I don't do any serious on-line gaming, so I'm no help, at all, on the wireless speed issue.

im a big time gamer, I use a wireless Linksys connection, we have two computers hooked together by one connection, so it affects how the game plays, it sometimes has bad lag, and other times it works great, but if you just have one computer with its own internet connection I'd say just go with the wireless linksys, which I do believe we have DSL which is 256K speed, so if you get that it should work just fine, it also depends on weather since its wireless. I dont know about the other thing though. Sorry if this confuses you lol.

I wonder how much peak or startup power 19" flatpanel needs. It may need a bigger inverter. I plugged in an electric blanket in two seperate 300w inverters and it didn't work. Blanket read 125w or so. But I been told XB360 and TV will run off of a 300w; so, I'm scratching my head!

I believe startup surge is around 50% extra.

Ex. 200 watt item would use 300 watts startup power

Be aware that the performance of your inverter is related to how much current the input leads can handle.

The best bet for peak performance is to wire the inverter directly to your batteries with heavy gauge cable.

A fellow company driver told me " before the end of year we should all have APU's w/ 2000w inverters on'em " so I got a 750w which I'll try out tomorrow in my blazer to see if it can handle tv and xbox. Hopefully it will work. I don't think it should be any different than a Semi because all it does is convert dc to ac, but I dont know to much about these things, so I could be wrong.:biggrin_2552:
