AR Transport?

New to the forum. Came on looking for a tanker job. Just wanted to thank Shanbone & FueltankHank for there informative and insiteful post. Happy to say I was just hired by A&R.

OTR (system) driver .... hopefully... Looks like home terminal would be Florence, SC ... thats where im headed monday for my interview.

 

I see on Craigslist they are hiring at the Jeffersonville, Indiana terminal. Anyone work outta there ? Whats the hometime ? Whats average take home for company man ? Is it ELOG ?

 

Tweetskillet,I am gonna work out of Ft.Worth terminal but overall I think you have possible daily runs at some terminals,Regional seems like it will take you to 5-7 states unless its Slow and then they will ask you if you would like to Travel farther but it will get you home By Friday evening most times.So you will be gone theu the week and (OTR) the System will get you home most every other weekend.My Terminal Manager told me that you can stay out as Long as you want to though and if you like a Certain area that they will try to Accomadate you so you can be in Certain areas.But as a Company driver you Ultimately will run where they need you

 

Seems to be a Pretty Flexible company overall though

 

Also type in A&R transport for the other link.They have a Few drivers on that one that will respond to you.This forms ends with a Question mark.The other one Doesnt.Use both of them to keep us informed.The other Link has been around longer
