The price of coffee

And when did tea get to be over $2?!?! I notice the other day and was like, "give me water then!" ...it was $1.79. SMH

 

One word Keurig. It has saved my so much money over the crappy truck stop coffee it has almost paid for itself in less than 6 months. Its good for other things besides coffee such as tea, hot chocolate, or even just hot water. A very wise investment.

 

There are only a few large industries making a 20% ROI and owning a truckstop or a chain isn't one.

 

Never convince me on that. Pilot is not losing any money and surely makes that kind of return when one adds back excessive salary and bonus.

 

Dont forget Cup O'Noodles !!! And I love k-cup Sumatra ...using k-cups for a single , when making a full pot of ground Starbucks is a waste is always a good thing

 

Geez, I didn't know you had to pay for coffee! All these years I thought it was free!

 

y'all just pretend to be rebellious Mormons and enjoy. Then the cost won't matter, it'll just be good coffee.

 

This isn't hard to understand. You have a computer and Internet access. A little research will show you just how few industries are making 20% ROI. If truckstops were pulling that sort of ROI you'd see a lot more of the old school stops still open.

 

I buy the ready mix cappuccino.
