Yorp, I tertally agree. We're a broke ### nation and we're passing new DOT regs. Makes sense to me.

 

London KY P-a-lot. 600 mi day with 9 min left and lucky to find a spot at 8:30 but a guy pulled out as I drove in. Sweet.
Had a 6 mo old trailer with a passenger side turn signal that blinked whenever the lights were on. Someone had rewired it wrong so had to fix that first thing today. Wouldn't notice if you had blinkers on doing pretrip.
Tomorrow I'm planned 680 mi from London KY to St Louis and back to cons in Louisville with no overnight parking for an 8pm appt. They are setting me up, because I'm not going to make it unless I get a much faster truck like the truck who passed me doing 88mph in KY tonight. About the only thing radar is good for.

 

Been doing the same thing to me the last couple days. Last night 14 ended around 1800, so they set me up with an 1800 drop. Got there early and dropped around 1730, but got tangled in traffic, so over 5 mins on hrs. Today, 2200 apt, 14 runs out at 2100. They lucked out because I can overnight here.

 

Cons Mt Vernon, IL. Will be overnighting here, then PP to Beaver Dam. Can't get out of the midwest. Been here all week.
