Do some online applications and follow with a phone call in a day or so. Take what you can get and stick with it for 6 mos. then you're good to go with most companies. When you look at the big picture, 6 mos. is a small price to pay to reach your ultimate goal.

Absolute best of luck in your search, hopefully a good job will come your way.
What is really messed up is that there are people who have driven while severely intoxicated and have never been caught. What is even more messed up is that they have done it repeatedly without getting caught. People such as this would be the ones that we should all be apprehensive about. The most messed up thing about this is that they have gone unpunished for a long time.

The 17 year old D.U.I. should NOT be a barrier if you have NOT had any more D.U.I.'s since then. This is a double edged sword. You are required to tell the truth or you are barred from having the job. However, if you tell the truth, you can still be barred from having the job. It is a "darned if you do and darned if you don't" situation.

I would not mention things that had happened 17 years ago, because some companies check three years only, others go back seven years. TMC and Maverick, if I am not wrong they want at least six month experience. You may try Prime or Swift.

And again, just report on your applications from now on, just whatever had happened within seven years.
Best of blessings to you and your family. Merry Christmas! -
Kind of agree with ya but on the other hand, this is when the guy was "young and dumb" almost everyone has probably done the same mistakes and the only difference is he got caught and we didnt....
I sure as heck know ive done some stupid stuff in my teen years, the difference is, we grew up! Some people never grow up but this guy did...123456 Thanks this. -
Folks need to realize driving histories vary greatly, by state.
The history that is searched varies greatly, by company.
For example, Prime will run your fingerprints......you can't hide squat !!!

17 yrs is along time ago,so many companies are unforgiving.People make mistakes when they're young and considering how long ago it was, companies should give them a brake. But because their insurance makes the final call they can't take chances.Keep looking op you'll find something. What your school told you about not putting it down, don't listen to them, they just want your money. So they'll say anything that sounds good so you don't quit. You do what you think is best not what some school tells you concerning applications.

I wouldn't give up yet. Try Boyd Bros. They have been good to is and my bf doesn't have a spotless record. Including a PI a couple mths prior to starting with them. I would pm the info to you but you don't have enough posts yet. When you call just ask for Pam. She's who my bf worked with.
