I haven't looked at a LS quarterly report in a couple quarters but they are pretty close to 50/50 on BCO to Broker freight. And they are focused on growing the brokerage side. On that volume it would be pretty hard for a LS Agent to allow freight to sit and wait to see what BCO wants it and if no one takes it then move it to an open board. They need the freight covered and moved.
You even have whole LS divisions that don't even use BCO's, or very little.
really Bear?

You pull a reefer and really don't have a reason to watch what they do all that closely. I've watched alerts daily for the past 2 years. Never called and connected on a load with them that was or had been on the loadboard those are always bad. Only connect on last minute stuff that pops from alerts. That is how to work LS Broker and get profitable freight even so most alert stuff is cheap too. Will also say their good stuff this year has been way down compared to last year.

Loadboards (in General) are the loads nobody wants...Basically Carrier overflow or Brokers 'Bad Lanes'
The old saying is correct...."If its to good to be true..It is"... Why do you think anyone and their brother can pick up the telephone, Call on a posted load, Give an Mc# and BAM... You got a load.
Look....If you want to be a trucker..Do it Right. Haul QUALITY freight in QUALITY lanes at premium rates. No if's,and's,or Butt's about it.
think about it folks............"Man,That was easy,I called on a load and I GOT IT".......... yeah, and its been turned down by several carriers alreadyrollin coal Thanks this.
