Stay away from Roehl

I agree my dad runs reefer for them and he has 40 years exp driving. I have a year and I make more money then him running for CRSTif that says anything about roehl.

 

Not sure how the lock situation works now but you can start the process with Wells Fargo today about your 401K. You can call them and start the paperwork on the transfers.

Yeah unless you are and O/O you have no choice however I am about to put my 2 weeks in and then run solo flat bed

 

Ouch on that Kidney stone. I know that was not fun. I was in the Hosp for 3 days with one and on high strength pain meds and I still felt it. Mine never passed yet though...

No I don't think says a lot about Roehl, just in case you were trying to cast them in a bad light. I think the fact you make more money at CRST might speak more about the difference in how you "truck". The freedom afforded by running solo might out-weigh the difference in money for your dad. I understand you are switching to flatbed solo, you may notice a difference in paycheck from team reefer.

Well got all my pay. I haven't got the security deposit on my locks yet. Oh well , Trucking LOL. I start the new job Monday . They seem unorganized so far , I am supposed to start On Monday morning and have not been given first assignment yet. I am convinced this is one messed up industry but I like driving . I will give this new company a couple months to see how it works out.. I amazed at how these places all operate and stay in business or out of court.

 

Totally agree about weekend dispatch. In my opinion as well, weekend and night time dispatch couldn't care less. Ellenwood is not the only terminal with major issues either.

 

Roehl is good to get your feet wet and get your time in. Thats what most of us did. I did 2 years there. You can do alot better. But as a training company you can do a heck of alot worse!
