JCT coming in as we head for the scale.

 

Yay! We are out! Didn't have to back up after scaling, he adjusted his tandems before he scaled out and it worked! It's so good to be free....

now, we have to get out of Dodge before the ice gets here. Talked to a JCT driver in the office who just drove in from the yard, he said there was ice between Sapulpa and Tulsa. Heading for Orlando delivery and then home.

 

You 2 be safe, I will be parking somewhere in Louisiana tomorrow as I'm crawling across the country on limited hours lol.

 

Thanks. 4 am - Stopped for sleep at the TA in North Little Rock. It's a lot warmer here, the rain has stopped but it's wet here. Need a light fixed on the trailer, the shop is full, all bays have trucks in them. Have to do that tomorrow I guess. Oh wait, it already is tomorrow! When we wake up later today.

 

Does JCT pay detention pay?

 

This is where cooking on the truck comes in handy... Also getting stuck due to winter storms etc... I sure hope they have 'facilities' available for you guys!

We left Rogers, AR and got away from the ice storm headed there. My plan was to get out much sooner and stay out ahead of the advancing rain shield and storms, but thanks to the chicken pluckers, we'll be slogging thru much of it today, including a soon to be issued tornado watch area from eastern ark. into tn, ms, al, etc... At least I was able to fix a trailer light without going into the shop, and the trailer has super singles, full aero-skirt, ready to run!
And now a public service announcement:
To all the folks who parked crooked as he** here last night and reduced the parking capacity by a third and forced me to pay for a spot, next time check your work, or I'll be knocking on some doors demanding some $ to pay for my spot. (Yeah, right, only thing I'll collect is a 5-finger sandwich!) Seriously, parking is already a problem, how do we get drivers to cut this crap out?
