Running with JCT

That is my pet peeve. Clowns that can't park in a legitimate spot or park on the fuel isle. My average fueling is 11min...in & out, man. Get outta my way!

Slower traffic keep right! Don't pass on the right and use the merge/acceleration ramp for, I don't know, accelerating maybe(that one's for the cars)?

 

I totally see what you mean but we are packed to the rafters in this truck, not an inch of extra space for a galley, cooking utensils and food storage as well. Yes, they have a trucker's lounge with a microwave, there is a shower in each bathroom, a large screen tv and comfy seating in the main room, washers and dryers so you have something to do while waiting. Coffee machines, some food vending. We walked to a store a block away the night we arrived but when it started raining yesterday we called out for pizza delivery, they delivered to the truckers lounge and called us from there. As shippers lots go, this one is the Hilton. The night before we got to Tyson, we spent the night on a road behind the receiver. No bathroom, nothing, just a beautiful view out my window of the lights of a town across the cow pasture. We used the one at the receiver before we creeped/crawled out of there. Trucking is primitive camping at its best, lol.

 

What is JCT's health ins plans they offer. I know everyone says it sucks, but does anyone have any details?

 

Rudeness is in the air! Once the first one starts it, the rest figures they don't have to worry about being nice, They will be blamed as well, They think "Well since these guys are parked like idiots I'll park like one to" Kind of like can't beat them then join them, which just makes my blood boil, Integrity=Doing the right thing without someone ever knowing you did or didn't do it right, not being seen doing it right!.

Adding my two cents worth....
His trainer at The other company called them Space-Eating Biotches! And these people were too! Two trucks took up 5 spaces, another three trucks took up 4 spaces, etc, all over the lot. Trucks parked crooked or just stopped in the middle of the lane-way. We found two spaces next to each other, were going to take one of them, but the guy ahead of us took both of them! How rude! Just took his half right out of the middle of the two.

 

Just went through LA on I-10 yesterday. Once you cross the bridge in BTR the road is suspension bending bumpy.

Crawling along on I40, 15 miles east of Little Rock. Went 2 miles in 17 minutes. What is going on up there ahead of us? Flash flood alerts every few minutes. Water everywhere. Lakes and rivers where there should not be one.

 

Arkansas as is a lake today. These are the farming fields on i40 near Palestine. Traffic Is Crawling.
