My Qualcom did the same thing about a year ago. Lasted about 12 hours on a Sunday then started working fine a few days later (after the truck had been parked for 3 days).

I feel ya, that's about what ive been getting since all these issues starting coming up, 8 more months left on the lease and not sure I want to keep this one. I have had to call in and get my QC remotely rebooted at least once a month since July, starting to think the changes for the new HOS are causing problems,

When you have some time, here is something that you might want to take a look at. InnKeeper sent it to me. It might address a lot of your problems.

Woke up this morning to a preplan that was sent at 02:45 to deliver at 06:00 just over 100 miles away but literally gets me 10 miles closer to home. It has 627 loaded miles on it so I'm not sure the deal.

Decided to spend the night at the tiny rest area in Parachute, CO (mm 75). When I say tiny, I mean there is legal parking for one truck, and I wasn't that truck. Got a knock on the door just after I finished dinner from a friendly LEO. Although I was the only other truck and there were no 4-wheel vehicles in the parking lot he asked me to move across the street (from the Shell gas station) and park on a narrow shoulder. There was parking for about 4 trucks there, so once I was in place I buttoned up for the night.

Started early this morning toward Denver, but decided to pull over until daybreak about MM 90 in a truck parking spot (one of the few along this stretch of I-70. There are electronic signs noting CMV's need to chain up at mm 178. Just checked the Colorado road conditions, and it looks like it will be dicey going with high winds between Silverthorne and Eisenhower in addition to snow and ice.

They say not to chain up to get into trouble... hmmmm. Catch 22, do I stay here or move forward with some chance of seeing my wife in SoCal sometime by this weekend....? Lot's of trucks at this pull out. I'll wait to discuss. Not anxious to chain up for the passes.

Been getting preplans for JIT loads going to Lousville UPS air terminal. Nope. Puts me further from home than where I sit now and I'm not playing the "MUST DRIVE STRAIGHT THRU!!!!!" game.

I was never told the RRK was a requirement, I also did not purchase mine and I have 2 of them, one a driver gave me when I started and the 2nd I found hidden under the bunk of one of the trucks I was put into and I kept both since. I have only used the seals, tape, a few fuses and a few connectors so far. Last time I was at the terminal I went to the shop and asked for more seals and they handed me a bag that had like 20 in it and I havent used any since. Target does a great job keeping trailers in good shape, everytime we bring back an mt they check the system and sometimes tells us to stick it in the back. They do a complete inspection on them I think its every 60 days.

Man last night North Hollywood was a pain in my arse, between fighting the stupid 4 wheelers who think they own the parking lot to everything else I dealt with. I get there and drop my load then head over to the dock to find that the dock door is still open to the trailer i need to grab out of there. I go and ring the bell and the guys stare at me then go back to work, like wtf? So i called in and they called the store 3 times before I ever got a reply. A hour goes by and I go and look to see the dock door open still, get back in my truck and a matter of seconds get a call that the store claims its ready to pull, go back and see the door is still open and the lead and his crew were all outside talking so I approached and questioned. He said take it that its ready, I told him close the door or im not moving that trailer, he got huffy and went and closed it. Then I had cars who decided they wanted to park in front of the dock while the passenger ran in to shop, told a guy he needs to move and he refuses, I told him look over at the big truck and trailer im about to bring through there and if he has a problem starting his car then I can easily give him a push start....he moved. A store that normally takes me 20min or so took 1.5 hours total.

Today I run a load to Atwater then turn around and run a load to Gilroy, hopefully today will go smoother. Found out the dc closes for both x-mas eve and x-mas so I got those days off and happy.

Finally found me something headed home but they are making me do a local delivery first. Told to get it here ASAP. Hooked the trlr and sent lcall. Got a restricted trlr msg as I hit the front gate. Security refused to let me leave. Dispatcher couldn't attach trlr. Tcall window couldn't either. They ended up calling the terminal mngr I think to get it done. Security kept looking out the door at me like I was trying to steal the #### thing. Got to the customer only to be told my appointment wasn't for another two hrs. They graciously decided to take me early. I might make it home tomorrow night.
