Wish I had that choice! I don't mind a tarp load as long as it's easy or if its a crappy load job.

Yep, I did have one load of cable on reels last week that I didn't tarp, otherwise it has been coils and steel, nice easy loads to tarp.

Some shippers won't load a Conestoga. Every load that I have hauled in the last 2 months could have been inside a Conestoga.

Beat me to it. Rope works very well for tough tarp jobs.
Looks like the thread's a bit old, but sound advice, nonetheless. -
The 3/8 orange and black rope seemed to work the best for me since I could always get the knots that I put in it out of it!!
