Let's say you did block up downtown, what then? You go to jail and your truck goes to the impound and is your state capitol going to cut fuel prices. It doesn't work that way guys. We need a solution that doesn't involve hoping somebody else will do something good for us. We need a viable, plan that can be implemented. A strike may get headlines for a day Italy was Unionized, the US is free market and not all of us will strike. Some will haul even cheaper than before. We need the lawyers at OOIDA to help implement a federally mandated, standardized FSC so that the people that ship pay for their own fuel. Will someone please tell me why they deserve to pay for someone else's fuel so that a shipper can move their product to make a profit. By the way leave your email address because i'm sure that there will be plenty of people that will be happy to let you pay for their fuel.

If you are going to force people to pay your fuel bill, you may as well put railroad tracks in every right lane of every Interstate.

That is the best idea I have heard all day. I have seen only one FSC in the last year and every time I ask about it they always say there isn't one or it is built into the price.

    How about this?

Park your rigs in front of the capitols. When DOT comes over to cite you, state that you ran out of fuel and can't afford to fuel up your rigs. So until things change, the rigs stay. :biggrin_2559:

    I got an Idea!

I've allready got the Flyers in the windows of my trucks so I do hope that will help raise a few more truckers incentive!

The CONVOY or STATE by STATE convoys sound good.

We ACTUALLY need to set a REAL date guys and get that word out. Even if it's 2 months away. We need a DEADLINE DATE.

The prices of FUEL will continue to go up on us anyways and we all know it.

I've heard many drivers stating on RT 70 heading to wheeling JULY 4th sounds good. I dont know.... Can we take a shot on a POLL or something? or just toss around a few dates?

    What ever the DATE????

How are they our fuel bills? That's why you're going out of business. JB Hunt and Swifts rates never put small companies out of business. The ONLY reason small companies are hurting now is because of fuel. But your right, the shipper's goods have to go so every small trucking company should pay the fuel because it's their responsibility. You've been brainwashed by your broker like many into thinking it's your responsibility to pay increased fuel cost even though someone else benefits. Keep paying it though, it won't take too much longer to rid of visionaries like you.

JB HUNT's Drivers are more than willing to help this shutdown.
They are all running those trucks and running them CHEAP! I know 2 of JBs drivers who are trying to collaborate an internal shutdown. Both are from the NJ Terminal.

JB, WERNER and SWIFT have gotten to big for their Britches! I think we can all say those companies are killing the Industries RATES!
