I have a friend that's a investigator for JBButts and she gave me some inside info about JB down sizing and cutting out the OTR division which i have to say ha ha and going all regional. This was back in December I was told this. This is what JB deserves they can't do anything right anyways. You know why they have a bad image? They dont treat there drivers it respect, they cant deliver freight on time and they cant deliver it on time because freight is always dropped in a drop yard or a terminal then it just sits for days on end

    KnightRider is right.

I talked to one of my former Co-Workers (Hired the same day I was last april). He's given me this info:

His Boss, we'll call him "John Doe" was Fired. HIS boss, one of the floor directors, was fired due to Sexual Harassment. and HIS boss was fired for the same reason. This apparently went down at the beginning of 2008. He also told me that a number of my former coworkers were laid off due to low turnover plus a forseeable drop in OTR and how much OTR Recruiting had to be done. I had known about it, about the plans to start increasing Intermodal and Regional stuff from my Manager over in DCS recruiting. Apparently HALF OF THE FLOOR IS EMPTY, compared with a loaded floor with zero empty desks when I left back in december.

KnightRider: Wasn't it you who was going Regional with JBHT out of Ohio or something Midwest? I could have swore you did, but maybe it escapes me for the moment...

Yep it was me alright. I was there for a month and it was horrible. 5-600mi a week, I couldnt live off that. They treated me like crap and the rest of the drivers like crap, everytime I got a load it was already late, they would give me a decent load and have me drop it in a drop yard. Then they would sit me for a day or two. Then they wanted me to drive in the middle of the night. I thought that was messed up because they said right in orientation that it was one of jb's regulations that you are not to drive between midnight and 5am:biggrin_2554:. Oh and when I was trying to come out of st. louis I had a 4-wheeler cut me off and then the car slammed on his brakes so I got a hard brake count. They wanted me to call and talk to safety dept and i told them to kiss my ##*, it wasnt my fault a car cut me off and slammed on there brakes, you're lucky I was even able to stop. I got tired of that crap that every little thing you did wrong you had to call in. After I left I decided enough is enough no more driving. I found me a job where i live and im much happier now and next april im gonna turn my cdl in for a normal license.

I worked for JB Hunt, as a company driver, for 1 month and have to say it was the worst trucking experience I've ever encountered. In that month, I brought home less than $1000.00. I would leave out on a Sunday and come home late Saturday night or early Sunday morning and go right back out. I would make my pickup and delivery then sit for a couple of days. I just wanted to run, but they wouldn't give me the opportunity. I have much better things to do with my time than sit and watch everyone else make money.

You know whats messed up? Since i posted on this topic a couple of days ago about JB they decided to call me and offer me a job (and by the way I know JB reads these posts everyday) and all I got to say is here's my middle finger JB, I rather keep working at Gamestop for min wage. Yes that's right, a former trucker working at Gamestop, why? Because i love electronics and video games and computers, and im thinking about going back to school for computer repair or something. SO UP YOURS JB!! I like my simple life, I like sleeping in my own bed, I like driving my car and not some peice of s*** has been broken down JB truck. End first rant, Second rant, I posted on here and i even said that i had enough of the trucking industry and yet your dumba** recruiter calls me and asked me how long I been out of a truck without me even saying anything so that tells me you tracked me down on here, again im gonna be clear on this, I haven't drove a truck since november 07' and you know what? i'm gonna make it very easy on you to track me down, im gonna give you my name on here because there's not a #### thing you can do to me except sue me for copyright infringment for using the name JB Hunt©.....ok here's my name.......ready?......F........U...J.....B

I´d love to take him on a tour to the Scandinavian Winter..especially Norways west coast, Now Canada is a piece of cake compared to Norway...
Would scare him outta his job for sure...

Ps Russians buy these old JBShits and yesterday I was behind one...forabout 10 seconds till I decided to pass him. couldn´t stand the crap he was pouring out and not progressing anywhere.
So Yes JB Hunt is "well known" in Europe too... HAHAAAA...Those trucks are the laughing stock here too.
