F'ingham T/A. Only 400 mi today as preloaded trailer wasn't even in a door yet when I arrived. So hours later at a TS down the road ('you can't stay here') bobtail they got it loaded. Could have slept in until noon. Planners said be there at 0900, shipper said we planned on loading at noon. Agh

Home until Sunday morning. Can't complain about getting nearly 5 days off. Wish I had one more to watch the big Packer/Bear game, but probably shouldn't push my luck I suppose.

Yeah, or just go there see if they take. Always call when in doubt, unless specific instructions to not call. I go around fm when possible. Even routing I will often call directlyMeltom Thanks this.

Sounds exhausting. Glad you made it.

Similar thing as well today. Preloaded trailer wasn't and I lost 3-1/2 hours waiting. Very time sensitive load, can't be one minute late, but not allowed to arrive more than 30 minutes early either.
Stupid 30 minute break really cobbed things up as well. I still don't see why two 15's isn't the same as one 30. After 15 minutes I'm not resting, I'm watching the clock. So instead of taking another 30 minutes so I can drive another 90 minutes I decided to just shut down.
So I'm in an east bound service plaza on I-80 in Indianna. -
There is active legislation to reverse the new HOS laws until a new study can be completed. We'll see how that plays out.DsquareD Thanks this.
