Leave it to some DA politician to do the stupidest thing possible.

Let's make it easy for the stalkers to find out who they're stalking by plastering their real names, and such, all over the world wide web. Duh-huh, Representative Couch.

Are politicians born stupid, or do they evolve. :biggrin_25513:

What a waste of taxpayers money this idiot is proposing... NOTHING on the Internet is anonymous.. especially making a post on a site... Government wants to know it would take them less then 10 minutes to find out.. Sure if it was a hacker and used multiple IP's to mask his then it would take longer.. But ultimately nobody is completely anonymous on the web...

Anyways people that would want to do such would already know to start with a public computer.. So, whats the point? A total wast of taxpayers money and I think he should have to pay it back out of his own money...

Seems like this is another case of parents not wanting to take responsibility for their children's actions, so a 'helpful' politician is going to try to get some gain out of it. As everyone else has said, and apparently he says, it's not exactly enforcible.

Do you like electing these clowns to take away your rights and set up stupid laws?..

There are a lot of more important things to worry about
