I've been seeing lots of adds on craigslist from this company looking for team, solo and line drivers out of Sparks NV.
Seen a few of their trks on the road but have not been able to talk with any of the drivers can't find any info on them either.

Has anyone had any experience with them or driven for them I've talked to one recruiter and got a little info but kind of leary since they always have adds out looking for drivers just like the mega carrier's which to me is a bad sign.

Trying to find out if they would be a better fit for me since they are based closer to my home than the company I drive for now which is IDC based out of Tacoma WA...

...Thx in advance if anyone had any info...

You are correct their trks are nothing special basic freightliners ...being a smaller company than what I'm used to driving for and closer to home has me interested.
I will probally have to go to their yard and see what I think of the place.

They've been advertising alot on the Denver CL for a team run Den to Sac with a $5k sign on bonus! Some of the extra pay like $20 per chain up occurrence, safety bonus etc. had me curious. I went to the safer website and they have a decent safety record--a couple of minor OOS in IN for electronic logging system malfunction. The ads feature newer looking Freightliners like you mentioned.

They are running ads for teams here in Phoenix Az. as well, I'm not sure what they are like, I wish I had talked to the guy I saw at a Wal Mart with one of their shirts on, he looked pretty bushed and well rode at the moment I saw him, I don't think he was in any mood to talk nice about anything! I wish you well, Whatever you decide will you come back and let us know? Besides us these threads hang in here for a long time and anyone wanting information will be able to com here and see it! Thanks.

They do a lot of Amazon.com freight, I think they may do some work for UPS or Fed-Ex as well. I see two of their trucks meeting for a trailer swap @ this little deli I stop at in Roseburg OR. I think one of the trucks comes out of the UPS terminal across the street.

They used to haul Miller beer out of Irwindale to get back to Sparks/Reno back when I loaded out of there. None of their drivers I talked to seemed very happy, but then again dealing with Miller was enough to piss off the Pope.

They use Penske trucks. Nothing fancy about them but you won't sit with a broken down truck not making any money. Penske is very good about answering the phone and getting someone out to change your tire / fix your light or whatever.

Thanks, for the info given the next time I'm home I will stop by their company ask a few questions and see what I think.
I will get back on here and post what I can find out, they are only about 70 miles from my house so thats why I'm pretty interested in them.

I hear it's worse than ever. Drivers are no longer allowed to go talk to dispatch to inquire about when they might actually get loaded. I will be very happy if I never see that stinking place again.
