I woke up to the satellite blowing up this mornng with wake up calls and asking about OTD. Let me DM know that I have the plague, but would def make OTD. I just sleep in when Im sick. Got my PP today. Schuyler to Miami. This could be a 3500+ mile week. One of the gals who works at Loves recognizes me. When I was there yesterday she asked if I ended up making it home to see me boys for Christmas. I cant complain about all these Florida runs.

Today marks my one year anniversary with TransAm. Im still drinking the koolaid and not going anywhere. I love this job. But right now its sleepy time before the meds knock me out.

I hear ya Pete. I was just thinking that. I have been sick more times this year than the last three years combined. Seems like whenever I get sick I get great miles and run like a dog and dont get enough rest to recuperate quickly. Plus when I go home there is one or two people sick and a couple days later I have it too. Gonna try to stock pile some Emergen-C.

Welcome back to the game kf4omc!!!

I was going to say the same thing as Pete....and I had noticed that you were usually sick after home time, honeybadger. I didn't know if it was because the air in the trucks is so dry or because of being home. I was always sick more when my kids were little. Try taking Vitamin D every day....it helps. And be sure and keep lotion on your hands. Dry hands allow more viruses to enter your system, that's what they told us when I was teaching anyway.

Yep ....Number One teenager informed me that her life sucks and that it was all my fault. I have cried myself to sleep all week. Sure do miss the days when they were little .....

Got my first negative check but it was from the week I was down four days cause I was getting the diabetes test and going to drs. appts. So I am not that bummed about it. Should get a positive one next week and then this week should be pretty good cause I will be sitting on 1700+ on monday and already preplanned with 2 stops so that is getting better. Had one bad week and that is not only cause of Dr. visits but had to get used to the meds I was taking. Will be home Jan. 6 can't wait. Not out as long as you Cranky but have been out since Oct. 1 and wife really is not happy about that. Probably will finish this lease and go company somewhere else so I can get a little more home time with out killing my first 2 checks out. 3 months down 3 more to go.

HB hope you get better soon. Ever think about taking Airborn? It helps you from getting sick

    Be safe out there

and I could only do it with miss patty coming aboard a couple weeks at a time

now I am out 8-9 days then a couple off and was still 14000 miles in dec

so there is life after transam

    jaso36 and kirk Thank this.
