The last time I was at the yard there were several drivers waiting around and getting their DPF systems worked on. . I'm glad My truck doesn't use DEF..

I deliver tomorrow and am scheduled for home time Tuesday/Wednesday. .I hope after delivery for a load from McPherson KS that I will be able to either sit on our T-call at the yard.

Everything is fairly quiet out here on the road for now. .I can even run down the road with my cb volume turned up. . Nobody yelling. . Nobody playing music. . It's kind of peaceful.

    Be safe

Wow..I need to apologize to you. .I just now saw your question. . The answer is YES..

The numbers I posted in the first couple pages of this thread are my actual settlement sheets. .I copied and pasted them from ACT website. They show trips. . Mileage pay. . Fuel surcharge. . Dead head pay. . Then it lists all of my expenses. . Truck payment. . Insurance. . Maintenance acct.. fuel expense etc.

I stopped posting the settlement sheets after the first couple simply because they show my fixed expenses for all who want to see. . Now I just post my total miles. . Gross, And net. . It's less confusing.

Sorry again for the late response.

No worries. I talked to Marsha a couple of weeks ago, I go for my DOT physical and drug screen tomorrow and will be in KCMO for orientation on Thursday. Going to stay a company driver for the moment until. I see how things work with the company. Plus the fact my last company the money situation is tight at the moment.

Maybe I will see you around sometime tho.

    Happy New Year.

We don't have DEF either, just DPF. I think that there are going to be a lot of folks raising Cain about those DPF systems.

When they fail and we have to replace them out of pocket, we will all be crying.

I did my drop/hook In Wichita and before delivery had a 2 choice load offer. .I took the one out of McPherson heading to Illinois.

I received a message that I could Tcall the load at the yard but since it's an open delivery for the 2nd I decided to keep it.
I have 1, 100 miles now, taking 2 days off and deliver this 600 mile load Thursday. . Giving me 1700 miles and 5 days left to run before payroll cuts off. I should end up with a decent week.

I probably won't post until after the new year. .I hope everyone has a safe one.

    Happy New year everybody!

I picked up in McPherson and delivered in Morton IL today. .

When I stepped out of the truck I could hear an air leak coming from under the truck. . Thought great, I'll have to head to a repair shop after I deliver. . Wrong! All the sudden my low air pressure warnings come on and I can't build air pressure. . Snow ice and wind! I didn't want to crawl under the truck. . Thank goodness it was something obvious, there was an ice ball about the size of a volleyball hanging from the tank drain cable. .I broke it loose and all was good again.

I took a load going from Chicago delivering in Dallas anytime this weekend. ....giving me 2, 700 miles for the week.

Oh it's sooo nice to be heading south. . Out of the snow, got the truck washed and 35 degrees! I even drove with the window down for a little bit.

I received a qual com message asking my eta to consignee (How come you always get a message right after passing a rest area or truck stop) responded 1800 Saturday. ."great! Receiver asking for early delivery".. as a reward, I got a pre plan that picks up after delivery Saturday with a 2 drop load going back to Olathe KS for Monday morning.

So I will end the pay period with 3, 350 miles and an extra $50 added for the extra stop.

Hubs is running for the barn. DPF filter is due for cleaning, and it's acting badly. I keep telling him not to look at other trucks, she's jealous!

If it's as nice in kc tomorrow as it was today, he should be able to run her through the chute at ACT. .Its not the best but it knocks most of the dirt off. . And its free!
