still @ Sealy, TX. enjoying a little better weather than back in the deep freeze. Been wrestling with a lot of decisions here. I was toying with the idea of putting my authority on ice and leasing on this coming year, but decided to stick with running under my own.
Also, left with two trucks and trailers and paying insurance on all of them I finally decided to sell my 2000 Intl 9400i and 2004 Transcraft. tough decision, it really is a good truck, somebody is going to do well with it I think for purchase price and operating cost I really don't think you could find a better deal. Also hard to part with that 04 Transcraft after completely restoring it, I'll never get my money back out, again I think someone will get a piece of equipment with a lot of life for the $$$.
I'm hoping to sell these and trade my 05 Intl 9400 in on a Fitzgerald glider later this year if things go well. Anyways, back to the books, still lots of paperwork to tidy up, phone calls to make, and putting a new system in place which will keep things a little more organized for 2014.
Happy New Year, it's looking to be a good one by all my indicator's !MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Parked in Laurel, MT at the little hole in the wall just west of the scales till Thursday morning then off to try and beat sunset Saturday night in South Carolina. Darn holiday has this week all screwed up, just couldn't make Wyoming and Montana has a 10' restriction tomorrow!!

Loaded two coils in Pittsburg, CA this morning then decided to run back to the yard and drop it and head home for the night... don't deliver until Thursday so have a giant 350 miles to run so why not try and score a little how ya doin...

One of our best customers is building 8 of these things with the option of 12 more and somehow I got "hand picked" to do the first one. They are padded and shrink wrapped and the tarps are just to keep the shrink wrapping on. They paid $1400 for a custom fitted three piece tarp set. To tell you the truth I am scared to death, but that is usually when I do my best work.dannythetrucker and passingthru69 Thank this.

Loaded a little one in Bridgeport, NJ and sitting for the night @ the Petro now a Fly-J on I-80 near Milton, PA
Happy New Year to all! -
No worries there, I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those places. See I did the rock-star thing for several years driving the motorcycle show truck and a big part of that culture is the neeked girl dancing establishments and as such I got my fill of those. (Of course when you show up there in a $1,000,000 truck/trailer with another million dollars worth of bikes in it there was no need for dollar bills
)

Being a family friendly forum I can't show the pictures from inside that night
But I just got my marching orders today and I'm being shipped off on a "special assignment" for the next 60 days so I wouldn't get to enjoy it anyway.
One of those little "Tall" ones?? -
yup, that's what happens when you get the "driver of the year" award or whatever. Hey, it might be good, might be bad, but it will be special for sure !
