I'm sure you can. If not on milage than you would on activity. Also not just Cal, AR, NV, and UT. They will keep you busy and all you have to do is update your times and preform your duties in a safe manner. Welcome aboard!

Hey Mrpeanut I will be going to Apple starting January 13th from what I've been told it is the busiest DC on the west coast. Like Drozzer69 stated some drivers can actually make more on activity pay then mileage. That's why us telling others the CPM doesn't really mean anything as your pay is based on a combination of different things you perform through out your day.Mrpeanut, Buzzard2157 and drozzer69 Thank this.

That's awesome! Congrats! I am in tears got our first paycheck stub, not what I was expecting and in a good way! A week of orientation and 4 days in the truck, still better than our old job! Tears to total joy!
Buzzard2157 and kuma Thank this. -
Just wait. They will get better than that first one. As he gets into his own rythem he will become more efficient. As he gets more efficient things will come together quicker which will result in a more comfy paycheck. Also his ADP will slowly increase as well. Just don't let that be the encoragement to work hard. Some drivers live by that number and it can get you in trouble because you start cutting corners and short cuts and such. Not what we are about and I know you and your hubby know this. Glad it is all working out for you both!TomOfTx and jasonheather6204 Thank this.

I've read this thread all this week and I have to laugh about how a wal mart driver gets his own truck with 3 million miles safe with the private fleet if he came in with 20+ yrs experience under his belt. I did the math and the d r iver in the this thread with the blue walmart truck had to of started in his late 20's with wal mart. So you cant sit there and assume that you have to have 20+ years with the company. If you think about it he had to of got in back in the 80's when it was even harder to get in..anyone can be a safe driver if they aim for it everyday!

Exactly. Some 3million drivers got more miles than do now because they traveled farther on a weekly basis than we do. Heck some drivers that started at my Dc would get all the way up ND on there week. Getting in at a young age can help. Look at me, I figure 30 years or less I could do it. I def have the time and patients. Some people just don't understand and desert skies was not making clear points in my eyes and nor was he an associate at the time. His views and expectations are more than what Wal~mart provided. I am sure he had not disclosed everything that happened to him. He walffled too much. Good and bad and just down right disrespectful. Hence the banning of his comments.
Either way. All of us here enjoy our employees and so do you.TomOfTx Thanks this.
