Trailer fixed... just in to.e to enjoy the blizzard! Woo Hop!

Put in for a repower, I'll wait to see what happens. My DM had one for me this morning, but trailer was still broke. Sent it over to the Aardvark.

 

Something about repowers everyone should know.
When you put in for a repower, it marks your truck on the repower board with a red R. If anyone on the inside puts you in for a repower, it marks it with a black R. This way we can tell if it's a driver request or operations request.
When a CSR or WNWE person tracks an account, we're needing to identify those accounts that require a repower for OTD. Short hours on 70, late dispatch, weather...whatever.
When we identify them, we change that R to a C for CRITICAL repower.
When doing the daily reports of each account, it it customary to remove any driver requested repower if it's not needed for OTD.
So.....if you have requested a repower for ANYTHING that does not affect OTD, it is usually wiped off the list pretty quickly. You have to hound your DM, because otherwise, it just won't be worked on.

 

Or you can call Emul and listen to him run through everything near and far that he can't make work.....

Sitting at the yard, got my 3 month physical tomorrow. Have everything else done and I got here at 1600. My appt isn't until 1500 so I may sit in on the VDPD class, else I'll have to do it next time I'm on the yard. If anyone wants to say hi, I'll be wearing my "Luck of the Draw" hat. After I pass my recheck and pick up my mystery Christmas present, I'll be grabbing a new student and getting out of Dallas.

 

Not much of a present lol. Comes in handy though.

But I ended up going to your place in St Charles, they had it fixed in about three hrs. Thanks for the tip.

 

Just an awesome, awesome past few weeks!!! Come off the yard in a record day and a half time, go to Tyson, nice 1800 mile run.... 4 hours after they told me they'd knock on my door to load me I go in and ask what's up.. "we didn't tell you we were short on product?" no haha that is why im standing here. Get repowered, do 2 more short repowers, and some produce out of CA... What do you know, shipper was 7 hours late and I barely made it on time. Pick up at Tyson again, look around... Hmm, 11k,12k, 14k series trailers.... What do I get, one of the ##### boxes with the hand levers. And its heavy so I had to wait all day for them to move 2 pallets.... Pretty cool
