Im not new to trucking ...just checking out the horror stories ....we live in an age where things like integrity, truth, fair hand shakes, good morals and all such are things of the past ....so when these trucking companys get ahold of these fresh fish it's like ringing the dinner bell ...they like to tell these new drivers how great it is to work for their company ...then they really put it to these drivers when they have them 1200 miles away from home ...it turns my stomach to watch ,some die ,some get burnt out and give up,some get ripped off some work for free .....it's sad to realize that this is what we have become as a society and it's only going get worse because a bad tree can't grow good fruit ....ive made a decent living in trucking but like any one else had to earn my stripes on the road first...and means things like getting devorced over this job ,ripped off ,used, and lied to having no friends,no love life, and coming face to face with instant death a few times ...
