The screens can be configured any way you like (or more correctly, however your company likes). We do multiple stop loads, and it is pretty easy from a driver standpoint. We load our bol no. when we log into the system. Then when we arrive at a delivery stop the gps triggers the arrival screen. Hit the yes button showing we are indeed arriving, and it switches to to the load info for that stop. Input your data, and it switches back to the main screen. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it doesn't take much to catch on.

Just thought of another way Peoplenet benefits me as a local driver. I used to get 5-6 calls a day from our sales dept. wanting to know ETA's and such. They weren't supposed to be calling, but it was always for some "special exception." Now they can check via Peoplenet where I am on my route without blowing my phone up all day. I imagine other elog systems do the same, but Peoplenet is the only one I have experience with.

You don't like being a screen pecker?

Reading on it I think it has voice commands where it will type for you. Maybe it's an option, not sure. I use the voice to text on my new phone. I like it. -
can dispatchers hear what you are saying like if you are on your phone talking?
