Practice tests on this site allowed me to pass my B permit with tank and hazmat. Very helpful.

After taking the practice text on this site and sites similar, I passed every endorsement with ease. I would take the practice exams 5 times a day and when I would get 100% every time. That's when I knew I was ready. You'll get it and good luck! The practice exams are def the way to go!

Diddo, Did the same thing, didn't even look at the CDL book. However, I did buy a separate HazMat book so I could learn the placard numbers in detail. That was for my own personal benefit.

Its really said honestly, that you can come on a site and memorize answers and then be "qualified" to drive doubles/triples, HazMat etc.

So far I have passed the hazmat, doubles, and tanker using the CDL book and this sites tests. I will do the passenger, just to say I have them all, Monday. Thanks for the links above I'll give those a try, if they have the passenger.

Back in 2002-2005 I had doing supplementing national safety training added to my IT duties. I found myself uncomfortable at telling people the safe way to use gear I had never seen. I had an opportunity to express my concerns with the way safety training is approached, and certifications were issued. I was asked what I thought the purposes of the testing and certifications were. I told them, and their response was: I totally wrong. The purpose of the training and tests is NOT TO teach them HOW TO DO THEIR JOB, or HOW TO USE THEIR SPECIFIC GEAR, but to insure they understand that rules exist and there are regulations in place. For each unique task, it's the employers job to make sure they are aware , and can, and are allowed to seek to correct procedures for that one task. It's the employee's job to actually do so.

On the doubles/triples/hazmat test's I see that exact same question patterns. There are just enough questions in key areas to make sure you aware those areas' exist. I just hope all the 20 something's I see trying these tests realize they are only be made aware of the issues, and don't just go out and blow up a neighborhood.......
