I thought so, the only issue I had was with the plant asst. Mgr. Benefits were good and gained a start to driving there learn the ins and outs of backing and such.

Unfortunately, I don't see how its not, is grain hauling considered farm work by DOT, even if im employed by a 3rd party, such as a company that harvests grain for a farmer.

It depends on the company, many just want to know how many years of truck driving experience you have and others want to know how much OTR experience you have. I work part time and the companies I have applied to have counted 12 months of part time work the same as 12 months of driving experience. And they did not care that some of the months were local driving hauling grain, as they counted it as "experience".
Some will only count "recent" experience, as defined by them. It just depends......
It will depend upon the company and what they specify for their type of "experience".
