Your right to a point. The pay in trucking sucks something fiercer. We are barley paid minimum wage a lot of times. That being said your example is backwards. The 2 million mile guy isn't likely to quit a company he's been driving for for 20 years to get that 2 million miles. Most of your new guys are the ones quitting because they think they deserve the same pay as the other guy.

$1000 gross is my absolute minimum I'll drive for. But I live in rural iowa so that's decent money gets. It all depends on where ya live what's considered dirt wage.
