Yep, even got a message today, not sure if it went fleet wide, but for driver in MT, ND, SD, WI, MN, can get #1 diesel and do 70/30 mix. 70% #1. I know some places have it, if need to I guess you could ask where.

I did see that, but was confused by it. Haven't seen any pumps where you can choose what kind of diesel you want.

I've seen it some places, don't recall ever at a major. Kardolmar said the J in Minot has a pump for it.

Yeah, I got that msg today also but couldn't recall seeing #1 diesel for sale anywhere I'd gotten fuel.

A little more about my 5th wheel problem -- what was happening was that I could pull the release lever and get the jaw to lock open, but when I'd start to pull forward the release would unlock and the jaw would go shut again. That happened again today up at the St. Paul yard, but it luckily didn't unlock until after the jaw had cleared the kingpin, so I was able to pull free. Had to then pull the release lever again of course to keep the jaw open for next time. If it keeps doing that I will have to have maintenance look at it.

Home now for hometime. I don't envy the folks who are going to be out there early next week. One of the notes I got today on the QC said "minimize the time you spend outside." And I thought that might be a tad difficult on a flatbed. I guess you could just get a bucket of water and pour it over the load, then it will freeze to the trailer and you won't need securement. :)

P Beach listening to OSU/Clemson. Off to Columbus tomorrow, then back here for another to Columbus on Sun/Mon in the forecast heavy snow, high winds and stupid temps. That should be interesting as it's 439 miles empty to get back here.

Meh, it's the weekend. Less traffic. Less targets.
