    I'm ready to give them a try because;

    1. I've had them on my trailer for almost two years with zero issues.

    2. At least 50 co. trucks and o/o's have them where I'm leased on and I've heard nothing but a few minor grumbles. Everyone reports increased fuel mileage and a weight savings.

    I was a total skeptic until I started pulling a trailer with them. One thing I've learned about life is that it's a lot easier if you keep your ears, eyes and mind open.

    Ugg!!! I'm new, green and ignorant.....Trying to separate the ego from the facts from the opinions, ..... I give up, I wish I never found this web site, now that I'm one test away from applying for a job...I'm totally turned off on trucking.

    If your that easily turned off then trucking isn't for you. You have to WANT to do this lifestyle. It's not a job. Not a career. It's a lifestyle an you have to love it. Plain and simple.

    You are taking it way too serious hot rod. What we have bickered about on this thread don't make a hill of beans. Even we don't take it that serious. That being said if I could find a decent set at a bargain I would try them n my spread axle float, Boardhauler has made a couple convincing post. He been in the business a long time ran the tires in question enough he should know.

    Oh it's not just this place...
    I was looking for a job were I didn't have to deal people constantly, and could be mostly alone. I'm sort of the hermit type, few friends, not into family.

    But so far every one I dealt with is cranky, opinionated as heck, and out discouraging.
    Even the Drivers license office , I flunked the first test because I drove to slow.
    After I passed I singed up for all the endorsement tests, except school bus, and the lady was like, Why all of them?
    I ask around about jobs with training (stick) and get, well if like being treated like dirt try xxxx, ripped off go to yyyy.
    I inquired about adding a gooseneck to my F250 and contracting, and was told, why bother with singles, get serious?

    I'm just overwhelmed by the amount of negativity in the transportation industry. I don't mind advice, but if I take all the advice I've gotten, it's amounts to "You've nothing to offer, now get lost."

    To get past the bs you gotta work your way up above it. Your gonna start at the bottom of the pool. You have to swim your way up to clearer water.

    But that is BS. I'm a decent driver, making more money then a lot of people on this forum....Have done more research then most on this forum, but I still have to work my way up? Why? I'm hauling the same freight just as efficiently as they are.
