I have been looking into Superior Carrier. I believe they have a terminal or two close to me, but I believe you have to be 23 years of age or older, and they have to accept the school that you attend. So, I won't know until I call a recruiter for sure!

I have looked at Schnieder National. I have heard iffy things about them. Do you know much about them?

Thanks for your opinion on food grade....I have to look into it more, anyways!

....taking a step back.....so when you're out on the road, driving and/or sleeping, you can smell the chemicals or whatever it is that you're hauling? Thanks, again!

Schneider Bulk hires new CDL grads.

Prime has food grade tankers, but try for hazmat company first.

Thank you, Chinatown! I will be looking into them. Should I still apply to companies that I am interested in, even when they have experience required, or an age requirement that is greater than mine?

Not speaking for Chinatown but it never hurts to ask. Most they can say is no, come back later. I have never done milk but have talked to a few drivers and delivered to the same places and I don't think you would really want to go down that road if you had a choice between that, food grade and chemical.

If there are any terminals that you are interested in close to where you are. I would show up in person and try to talk to someone other than a recruiter to get the low down on how they operate and what you might be able to get away with as far as age and experience.

    HauntedSchizo19 Thanks this.

Thanks, Rockee; your advice is solid, and greatly appreciated! Unfortunately, I am not around a whole lot of terminals. So, most of what I would be doing is either calling and/or emailing. With that being said, who is best to call...the terminal closest to me, or recruiting? All I want is straight-forward answers, no BS, which I feel like I will get if I call recruiting.

Does anyone know much about the FAST card? Is it pretty much like the TWIC card? Is the FAST card worth getting? Thanks.

Fast card is for Canada/Mexico and is only for commercial purposes. Not like a passport.
