State Of Emergency in IN

oh no ! better lock your doors

 

Crossroads of America has closed. Both E-W and N-S interstates. All roads impassable and temps dropping deadly 20 below daytime high M-T. Wind gusts like mega pop tornadoes. Another wave following TH. Lots full. If you are stranded south of Indy msg me we will do our best to accomodate your safety.

 

We are near the IN/IL state line, but further west along I-80.
Anyone stranded in this area?

 

At those house now. Almost all counties in Northern IN are in a travel warning meaning travel is only for emergency personal.

65 north and south bound between Gary (12/20) and Lafayette (mm 172) is closed. There's a long list of state roads that are also closed or impassable at this time.

Current temp -13 feels like -41

they've been in a state of emergency for years !!!!!!

 

Yup, we are in IL, sorry I wasn't clear, and yup, I agree : )

 

My bf was supposed to deliver in Ft Wayne today. He called the receiver before heading out this morning and they told him that I70 and up is basically shut down and they will call him when he can deliver. He opted to go to his terminal and get some work done on his truck while he waits. Of course that was after he got first his tractor thawed then his trailer lol.

 

My hubby stayed home today, was due to run to Indy, but is spending the day driving a snowblower instead : )

 

Lol MrsT. My bf thought about staying home but figured he'd be better getting his truck worked on during the down time.
